Below is a chart of our prices for Real Time Tape Copy.  Price given is per copy and includes BASF chrome tape in Shape Mark 10 shells (have a precision bridge to assure precision alignment with the heads), blank labels, and good quality Norelco Boxes (hard shell). Across the top is the tape length in minutes for our in stock tapes. Custom lengths are available in quantities of 100+. Lengths are both sides, so for determining the proper length double the longest side and add 2% to allow for variations in speed from one machine to another. We can usually run tape off in a day or two on our standard lengths, allow at least a week to ten days for custom jobs. For 25 copies and above we give a 25% discount for single side tapes. Labels come in a variety of colors. We can do laser printed labels for $5.00 set up and $0.15 per label, minimum of 12.

Why Use It 

You've worked hard to make your tape the best sounding stuff you've ever heard. Why short change yourself on the quality of the product that you will give to your customer, fan, agent or venue owner. They donÂ't know about the hours that you spent sweating bullets creating the product, all theyÂ've got to go by is what you give them to put in their tape deck. Cassette tape is notorious for low quality control, especially on high speed duplication as it is all done automatically and there are lots of things that can go wrong. We use the highest quality cassette shells and boxes we can buy. We believe it is worth the slightly higher cost fo be able to give the customer an excellent final product.

What It Is

Real Time copy is done with both the master and the target tape running at standard tape speed. One to one copying just like youÂ'd do at home. The tape is hand loaded into the machines and the sound is monitored as the tape is run. We make a test copy before running each job to insure that the levels are correct. Analog tape wants a high signal to noise ratio to reduce audible tape hiss withour the use of noise reduction. If Sound Enhancement or Compression is indicated as being necessary we will contact you and get your opinion. Then, we run a test pulling out random tapes and playing parts of them to insure that what is going onto the tape is as close to the master as possible.
